The Green Deal Industrial Plan: Securing an energy transition 'Made in Europe'

On 11 April 2023, European Aluminium and Eurometaux held their joint public event "The Green Deal Industrial Plan: Securing an energy transition 'Made in Europe'", discussing how the brand-new EU Critical Raw Materials Act needs to work within the wider Green Deal Industrial Plan to secure Europe’s clean energy technology supply chains. The event featured a panel debate and keynote interview with Maive Rute, DG GROW Deputy Director General.

They exchanged views on how to drive forwards competitiveness and investment across the full supply chain, including raw materials, product manufacture, and recycling.
